Hi! I’m Margaret.
But you can call me Meg.

If you’ve found your way to this place, I am honored to have you here. Through photography, I have found so many people with hearts that beat to the same rhythm as my own. So many have become dear friends.

I live in Colorado where I was born and raised, and I truly don’t see where else I could feel so at home. You can find me daydreaming, listening to music, and trying to remember to drink my coffee before it gets cold. We have a home full of life; I am a solo mom of four little ones, one black cat, and so much noise. For many, this might be a bit much, but it works for us; for our dance parties in the kitchen, our wild laughter, and our intense way of being a close-knit family.

When I think about what my kids might look back on when talking about these years we’re in now, or reminiscing about their mother in these early mothering years… I often want them to draw on how bright and colorful this season was. That life was lived fully. And that love was profuse, overflowing, and abundant. That perfection was never the goal that our home’s spirit was its own entity.

And while my sessions may be full of the quiet, the details, and the small ways of finding a way back to self… my every day right now is just as full of wild screams, tittering forts in the living room, and spaces dedicated to the mess that comes with the stuff of real life.
